Apartments Overview

Furnished & Partly Furnished

Within this historic 1917 housing complex, a variety of atmospherically distinct apartments provide flexible settings for film and photo productions.

Grandpa’s Old-Fashioned Apartment evokes the quiet simplicity of a retiree’s life — modest, slightly cluttered, and full of nostalgic charm. With its compact kitchen and understated furniture, it offers an authentic portrait of everyday life from a bygone era.

The 1960s Apartment combines a vibrant retro kitchen, a patinated study, and two empty rooms ready for creative adaptation. Its orange sideboard, old television set, and soft blue walls suggest both intimacy and intellectual eccentricity — ideal for character-driven storytelling.

The Colorful Vintage Apartment presents a brighter, more lively setting: a spacious, fully furnished home with playful décor, children’s room, and light-filled living kitchen. It embodies a sense of personality and lived-in warmth.

By contrast, the Student Apartment offers a versatile, partially furnished environment that can easily shift between shared-flat realism and complete reimagining. The open connection between kitchen and living room adds cinematic depth and flexibility.

Finally, the Empty Apartment with 1980s Kitchen stands out with its mint-green cabinetry, dark sisal carpet, and rough, unrestored walls — a raw, expressive location that lends itself to atmospheric or minimalist productions.

Beyond these examples, numerous additional vacant apartments with varying levels of decay and a wide range of wall textures are available, offering even more creative possibilities for set design and storytelling.
